A 70-year-old Muslim vendor, Mohammed Mohsin, was violently beaten to death in Kako village, Jehanabad district, Bihar on 18 September 2025, following a dispute over ₹5 toll money. Mohsin had come to the local market with his minor grandson to sell fruits and vegetables. When asked to pay ₹15 as toll by Vicky Patel, Mohsin said he had only ₹10 and requested a delay for the rest. Patel allegedly reacted by picking up a nearby dumbbell and striking Mohsin on the head and stomach. Mohsin died instantly. (The Siasat Daily)
