A bizarre and extraordinary event in Uttar Pradesh’s Deoria district has drawn massive attention after a calf was born with two heads and three eyes. The rare birth, which occurred in the village of Satraon, has sparked a wave of curiosity and religious fervor, with locals flocking to the site to offer prayers and seek blessings.

The calf, born to a healthy cow owned by a local farmer, stunned villagers with its unusual physical features. Videos and images of the calf quickly went viral on social media, showing people worshipping the animal, lighting incense sticks, and considering it a divine sign.

Veterinarians believe the deformity could be the result of a rare congenital condition known as polycephaly — the phenomenon of having more than one head. Although such animals generally do not survive long, villagers remain hopeful and continue to treat the calf with special care.

Local beliefs and religious sentiments have intensified around the incident, with some residents calling the calf an incarnation of a deity. “It’s a miracle from God,” said one villager, echoing the views of many who view the birth as a positive spiritual omen.

While scientific explanations exist for such deformities, the event has undeniably gripped the attention and emotions of the village and surrounding areas.
