April 23, 2025 | Gaza Strip — At least 32 Palestinians were killed on Tuesday as Israeli airstrikes targeted multiple areas across the Gaza Strip, including shelters housing displaced families.
The ongoing blockade has severely impacted the region’s healthcare system. A U.N.-backed polio vaccination campaign, intended to reach over 600,000 children, has been suspended. Gaza’s health ministry warns of a looming healthcare collapse, with 60,000 children already showing signs of malnutrition.
The humanitarian crisis is further exacerbated by the destruction of vital infrastructure. Israeli airstrikes have destroyed equipment used for rescue operations, including bulldozers and vehicles provided by Egypt and Qatar.
The United Nations has reported that Israel has blocked all forms of aid from entering Gaza for 50 days, describing the impact on civilians as “very serious.”
As the conflict continues, the international community urges immediate action to address the escalating humanitarian disaster in Gaza.
