Saudi Arabia Announces June 11 Start for 2025–2026 Umrah Season

The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has released the official calendar for the 1447 Hijri (2025–2026) Umrah season, with foreign pilgrims set to begin arriving on June 11, 2025 (15 Dhul Hijjah 1446).

Visa issuance will commence on June 10, 2025 (14 Dhul Hijjah 1446), and contracts with foreign agents must be finalized by May 27, 2025 (29 Dhul Qada 1446). The final date to issue Umrah visas is March 20, 2026 (1 Shawwal 1447), with the last entry for pilgrims on April 3, 2026 (15 Shawwal 1447). All pilgrims must depart by April 18, 2026 (1 Dhul Qada 1447).

Preparations for the new season began on March 25, 2025, with the launch of the external agent qualification service via the “Nusuk” platform and the “Umrah Path” system. Agreements between Umrah companies and external agents commenced on April 14, 2025, during the Hajj and Umrah Services Forum.

This strategic planning aims to ensure a smooth and well-organized Umrah season, enhancing services for pilgrims worldwide.
