Hindu Youth Arrested for Impersonating Muslim Woman at Janmashtami Event in Jharkhand

A Hindu youth, identified as Pramod Soni, was arrested in Ranchi, Jharkhand, for wearing a burqa and impersonating a Muslim woman during a Janmashtami celebration. The incident took place on Sunday near Albert Ekka Chowk at an event attended by Governor Santosh Kumar Gangwar and a large crowd.

Soni’s suspicious behavior drew the attention of a woman named Nusrat Parveen, who promptly alerted the police. Upon being apprehended, it was discovered that he was wearing jeans underneath the burqa.

An FIR has been filed against Soni, with police alleging that his actions were an attempt to disrupt communal harmony. An investigation is ongoing to determine his motives.
